Besiktas have received a major boost in their bid to sign West Ham striker Javier – Chicharito – Hernandez.
Chicharito’s agent Eduardo Hernandez has confirmed his client wants a West Ham exit and that a number of clubs are interested.
“There are a number of clubs interested in his services, he’s a player everyone knows and is incredibly professional,” Hernandez said on Monday onĀ Agenda FOX Sports.
“Our primary focus is a club in which [Chicharito] can play the most games possible,” Hernandez said. “That’s the most important.
“Javier has asked personally for it. He’s commented, stated and demanded that we look for a club that really needs a player with his characteristics because what he wants is to play and play and play.”
The agent admitted there has been interest from Turkish club Besiktas, but denied any deal being in place.
Hernandez underlined that West Ham would need to give the green light before any move goes ahead.
A loan move looks more likely than a permanent transfer, an arrangement that would suit Besiktas.
