Everton striker Cenk Tosun has been in great form recently scoring four goals in his last three games.
It turns out he is also settling in well with his teammates. In fact Dominic Calvert-Lewin said he has ‘decent craic’. Always a good sign!
The fact that Tosun speaks good English is always a big help and that he tends to be a people person. The same applied at Besiktas where he was a favorite among his teammates and the fans.
Calvert-Lewin revealed that he has been learning a lot from playing with the Turkey international.

“It is all experience and for any young player you have to be a sponge and take everything in,” he told the club’s website. “You have to have your eyes peeled every day just to see what they are doing.
“If Cenk is in the team you have to look at why he is in the team and what you can do to get in. I talk to him a lot during games. If he has been playing he will come and ask me what it looks like from the sidelines, and I will ask him about the two centre-backs he is up against in case I come on the pitch.
“Cenk has settled in straightaway. His English is very good, he likes to have a laugh and he has decent craic! He has settled in with the lads perfectly. And it is bearing fruit on the pitch now – he has four goals in his last three games.”
Tosun has been averaging a goal every 106 minutes in the league which is the best rate for his side.
The striker is currently on international duty with the Turkey national side and started in the 1-0 win over Ireland.
The 26-year-old is also likely to feature against Montenegro on Tuesday.
The Turkey international faces a tough run of games on his return to England as Everton will take on Manchester City followed by the Merseyside derby against Liverpool.
Both games will be played at Goodison Park and the derby will be Tosun’s first since joining Everton.
