Halilhodzic was appointed as Trabzonspor manager at the start of the season.

Trabzonspor fired the former Algerian national team coach following a slow start to the league and for comments he made about his squad to the media.

Halilhodzic’s second spell at Trabzonspor lasted a total of 116 days. The experienced coach won four, drew eight and lost two of the 14 games he managed.

The Bosnian coach was replaced by former Turkish national team manager Ersun Yanal.
