Liverpool will ‘give their all’ for Steven Gerrard says Babel [divider]
Former Liverpool winger Ryan Babel believes that the Reds have a good chance of finishing in the top four and that the team will give it their all to make sure Steven Gerrard leaves on a high.
“They have looked very good in the last few weeks and have much more confidence than before,” Babel told the official Liverpool website.
“There’s still a good chance of ending in the top four and, knowing it will be Gerrard’s last possibility to win a trophy for Liverpool, I am sure the team want to push hard to make sure they end up with one.
“Given their spirit and how Liverpool have always lived for football, I’m sure they’ll give their all.”

The Reds will face Blackburn in the FA Cup quarter-final replay and will take on Aston Villa if they book a place in next round.
Liverpool are also just two points off a top four place in the Premier League. The Reds are currently fifth but could move into third place with an away win against Swansea if Arsenal and Manchester United both lose on the weekend.
Babel scored a total of 22 goals in 146 appearances for Liverpool between 2007-11 and later joined Kasımpaşa on a free transfer from Ajax in 2013.
The 28-year-old has six goals and four assists in 20 appearances for the Süper Lig outfit this season.
