Germany 2 – 2 Australia – Mesut Özil and Ilkay Gündoğan play 90 minutes
[divider]Lukas Podolski and Marco Reus found the back of the net as Germany record a 2-2 draw against Australia in Kaiserslautern.
Manager Joachim Low started with a 3-5-2 formation but the World Cup winners delivered a largely lacklustre performance, despite taking the lead after 17 minutes.
Gündoğan started his first game for Germany since August 2013 and played the full 90 minutes. Mesut Ozil who missed Arsenal’s victory over Newcastle last weekend also played 90 minutes for Germany tonight.
Germany take on Georgia in a Euro 2016 qualification clash on Sunday.
