3 players Galatasaray are interested in signing in the summer transfer window
Former Arsenal full-back Emmanuel Eboue will be leaving in the summer which will free up funds for wages and the Lions are planning on replacing him with the Uruguayan international.
Galatasaray could face competition from Arsenal and Liverpool as both have been keeping tabs on the 30-year-old according to the Express.
Arsenal are reported to be in the market for an experienced full-back while Liverpool are looking to replace Glen Johnson, whose contract at Anfield expires at the end of the season.
Periera is valued at £5.5m price by Benfica but has revealed that he is happy at Benfica.
“I do not know much (about reports of a transfer) but I read the papers like everyone else,” Periera was quoted as saying in the Express.
“At Benfica I am quiet and happy and I only look forward to winning the second consecutive championship.”
Galatasaray are currently first in the Süper Lig, two points ahead of second placed Fenerbahçe and three ahead of third placed Beşiktaş.
The Black Eagles have also been closely linked with Periera over the past year.
