Turkey move up to 52nd in FIFA World Rankings

Turkey have moved up four place into 52nd position in the latest FIFA World Rankings.

FIFA updated their rankings on their website this morning.

Turkey drew 1-1 with Netherlands at the Amsterdam Arena in the Euro 2016 Group A qualification game last month and beat Luxembourg in an international friendly.

The Crescent-Stars increased their points tally from 594 points last time around to 603 in the latest FIFA update.

The Crescent-Stars Euro 2016 Group A opponents Netherlands move down to 6th, Czech Republic move two places down into 19th, Iceland have moved down one spot to 38th, Estonia are down to 89th and Kazakhstan are up to 133rd.

Turkey take on the Kazakhstan next on June 12 in the Tsentralniy stadium, Almaty and then Latvia at home on 3 September.
