Galatasaray have made an enquiry for Benfica fullback Maxi Pereira according to Italian football journalist Tancredi Palmeri.
Palmeri tweeted: “Galatasaray have contacted Benfica’s Maxi Pereira.”
Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik also published a similar story recently regarding Galatasaray interest in Pereira.
Galatasaray have made no secret of the fact they want to bring in a fullback over the summer transfer window.
The Lions are reported to have contacted Pereira through goalkeeper Fernando Muslera who also happens to be his Uruguayan international teammate.
