Former Turkish international Mehmet Aurelio has become Kasımpaşa assistant manager the club revealed today.
Aurelio will join Önder Özen at the Istanbul based club on a 1.5 year deal.
The 37-year-old first moved to Turkey in 2001 when he joined Trabzonspor on a two-year-deal.

Aurelio later joined Fenerbahçe in 2003 and spent five seasons at the club winning three league titles and the Turkish Super Cup.
The Brazilian born midfielder later joined Real Betis and then returned to Turkey and played for Beşiktaş.
Aurelio became a Turkish citizen while at Fenerbahçe and represented Turkey at international level.
The former Turkish international was part of the Crescent-Stars side that reached the Euro 2008 semi-finals.
The assistant manager role at Kasımpaşa will be Aurelio’s first venture into football management.
Özen and Aurelio will replace caretaker manager Jan Wouters who will return to his position as head of youth development.
