Kazim-Richards joins Feyenoord on permanent deal

Feyenoord have secured the permanent transfer of Colin Kazim-Richards who joined the Dutch side on loan from Bursaspor in the summer according to Football Oranje.

Feyenoord manager Martin van Geel was full of praise for the Turkish international and underlined he was pleased with Richards joining the club.

“He has proven this season both on and off the field to have value for Feyenoord,” Van Geel said.

“Colin is physically strong, has a huge winning mentality and adds a lot of experience to our selection.

“Moreover, we have the confidence that his scoring ability next season will only increase, with Colin now becoming more familiar with our way of playing.”

Kazim Richards has scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in all competitions for Feyenoord this season.

The English born Turkish international has two goals in 35 appearances for the Turkish national team.

The 28-year-old forward made his debut for Turkey back in June 2007 under Terim.

Kazim Richards stared in the Turkish national teams semi-final finish in the 2008 European Championships.
