Reds boss Brendan Rodgers recently gave youth star Jerome Sinclair a chance against Chelsea in the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.
Rodgers has utilised younger players throughout his time at Liverpool and has one of the youngest sides in the league.
The likes of Emre Can, Raheem Sterling, Coutinho and Jordan Ibe are all under the age of 22.
Yeşil joined Liverpool on a €1 million move from Bayer Leverkusen in 2012 and was at the time rated one of the most promising strikers in Europe.
The 20-year-old has however, spent most of his time at the club on the sidelines and only recently recovered from a double cruciate ligament injury.
Reds U21 manager Michael Beale stated that Yeşil will need some time but that he looks better than the last time he recovered from a lengthy injury.
“With Samed, when you get your body back, those little other little things go as well. He’s looked better coming back this time than the previous time so that’s hopeful. I know today, he looks a little bit off it but he still has his one chance and if it goes in everyone is calling him a hero,” Beale told the Echo.
