Emre Can has been included in Liverpool’s starting line-up which takes on Crystal Palace today at 17:45 (GMT).
Liverpool host the Eagles tonight in the 37th week of the Premier League as they prepare to give Steven Gerrard his Anfield send-off. The 34-year-old captain will lead his side out for the last time at the historic stadium.
Gerrard will end his 17 year stay at Liverpool this Summer when he joins the MLS side LA Galaxy.
Can has made 38 appearances this season, the majority of which have come in defence despite being signed as a midfielder from Bayer Leverkusen at the start of the season.
