Gençlerbirliği defender Dusko Tosic has admitted that he wants to stay in Turkey next season according to Radyospor.
“There are lots of rumours going around but I want to stay in Turkey, I have settled in and know the league well but what I will say is that Istanbul is a lovely city,” Tosic said.
Istanbul based Beşiktaş are reported to on the verge of signing Tosic on a free transfer according to the TRT reporter Barış Yurduseven.
Tosic has not renewed his current deal with Gençlerbirliği that runs out at the end of the season.
The 30-year-old is expected to join the Black Eagles following the end of the season next week.

Trabzonspor and Southampton have also been closely linked with the experienced defender.
The Black Sea Storm’s head coach Ersun Yanal met with Tosic and his agent at the Calisto Restaurant in Büyükçekmece, Ankara but were unable to agree upon a deal.
The Serbia international has made 30 appearances for the Ankara based side this season.
