Sneijder wants to become Galatasaray manager in the future

Wesley Sneijder has revealed that he wants to become Galatasaray manager in the future once he retires from football.

“I want to have a role at Galatasaray in the future, I would love to become manager one day,” Sneijder told HaberTürk.

The 30-year-old is currently having his most productive season at Galatasaray since joining from Inter in 2013. Sneijder has a total of 14 goals and six assists in all competitions including 10 league goals.

The Netherlands international captain scored the winning goal in the 2-0 win against Beşiktaş on Sunday 24 May which ended up clinching the Lions 20th league title.

The experienced playmaker also scored important goals in the Intercontinental derby against Fenerbahçe in the first half of the season.

Sneijder has already won the Süper Lig and Turkish Cup at Galatasaray but has the chance to win the double this season.

The Istanbul giants will take on Bursaspor in the Turkish Cup final at the Bursa Atatürk stadium on June 3 2015.

Sneijder was also part of last seasons Turkish Cup winning side.
