Mesut Özil’s incredible run in the FA cup continued as he stared in Arsenal’s 4-0 victory over Aston Villa as the Gunners retained the FA Cup to become the most successful team in the competition’s history.
Özil has played ten games in the FA Cup since joining Arsenal from Real Madrid for £44 million back in September 2013.
The 26-year-old has won all ten of the ten FA Cup ties he has played in. Özil has two goals and four assists in the FA Cup over the past two seasons.
