Manchester United are ‘on the verge’ of signing Borussia Dortmund’s star man Ilkay Gündoğan according to the Daily Star.
The report states that the Premier League giants have agreed personal terms with Gündoğan and that United are close to announcing the transfer.
Bayern Munich pulled out of the race earlier this week while Barcelona have taken a step back after hearing the 24-year-old’s €12 million per season contract demands.

The Germany international rejected a contract extension deal with Dortmund and is expected to leave the Bundesliga outfit.
Gündoğan has five assists and three goals in 32 appearances for Dortmund despite spending much of the season out injured.
