Liverpool star Emre Can revealed that he wants to be given the chance to prove himself in the Liverpool midfield next season.
Can played as a defender in Reds boss Brendan Rodgers back-three and as a right-back as part of a defensive line of four this season.
“Of course I want in the midfield, and I can take the opportunity and prove I can play in the midfield,” Can told the Anfield Wrap.

The 21-year-old also revealed that he is capable of playing anywhere in central midfield if given the opportunity.
“Anywhere in the centre midfield!” he added.
The Reds youngster was actually a central midfielder before joining from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen in the summer on a £9.75 million move.
Can has played in his preferred role on occasions for Liverpool this season but is expected to get more playing time in midfield next season with captain Steven Gerrard leaving the club.
The 21-year-old had an impressive breakthrough season making 40 appearances for the Premier League outfit in all competitions.
