Liverpool midfielder-come-defender Emre Can has stated that he is prepared for the U21 European championships.
Can underlined that he has been studying their opening group game opponents Serbia closely and has analysed their playing style using video footage of previous games.
“We know the other teams very well. We have seen Serbia’s recent games. We have watched a lot of videos of them,” Can was quoted as saying on the official UEFA website.

The 21-year-old also revealed he was been waiting two years for this tournament and that he cannot wait for it to get underway.
“The anticipation ahead of this tournament is huge. We have been waiting two years for it. We have had a good week preparing in Austria, and also trained well in the last three days. We’re very well prepared,” he added.
Can played as a defender for Liverpool this season in Brendan Rodgers back-three and as a right-back.
The Reds star is however, a central midfielder and is expected to be used in his preferred role for the Germany U21 side.
