Manchester United winger Nani will arrive in Istanbul on Sunday to undergo a medical with Fenerbahçe, the club revealed on their official website on Thursday.
Fenerbahce’s sporting director, Giuliano Terraneo, travelled to Portugal last week to complete the transfer after meeting with Nani’s agent, and the 28-year-old is set to join for an undisclosed fee on a four-year deal worth €3.975 million, according to a close Turkish-football.com source.

Nani made the move to Old Trafford for £17.85 million in 2007, scoring 40 times and providing 73 assists in 230 appearances for the Red Devils.
The four-time Premier League champions went on to lift the Champions League trophy and the World Club Cup during his time with the club.
The Portugal international was loaned out to Sporting Lisbon last season – despite signing a lucrative five-year deal with United in the summer of 2013 – where he scored a total of 12 goals and registered eight assists in all competitions, helping Sporting to secure a third-place finish in the Primera Lig.
The experienced winger will be joined by 24-year-old defender Abdoulaye Ba and goalkeeper Fabiano who joined Fenerbahce on loan from Sporting’s rivals Porto.
In an already busy summer, Fenerbahce have completed the transfer of centre-back Kjaer from Lille on a £6.73m deal. Atletico PR striker Fernandao has also signed a four-year deal after enjoying a successful loan spell at Bursaspor last season, where he became the league’s leading scorer – hitting the back of the net 22 times. Fernandao has also been joined by Bursaspor teammate Sener Ozbayraklı – who too signed a four-year contract.
Nani will become the third member of the A Selecção to join Fenerbahce after centre-back Bruno Alves and former Liverpool and Chelsea midfielder Raul Meireles.
The total number of former Primera Lig players at the club will rise to six following the addition of Nani, and the number of Portuguese speakers will increase to seven.
Fenerbahce also recently appointed Portuguese manager Vitor Perreira, who has experience working with a number of the recent additions.
The club have already signed five players but have released six club veterans all over the age of 30 – except Mert Gunok – in a bid to reduce the average age and restructure the team over the summer.
