Fenerbahçe striker Robin van Persie was a major Premier League star before his move to Turkey and his named shirt was the highest selling football jersey over the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons.
The Dutch striker remains a player with considerable brand value and was chosen to star in the latest BT Sport adverts promoting Champions League football on the channel.
Van Persie appears to have gone native as he dons a Fez in the clip alongside BT Sport presenter Jake Humphrey and former Manchester United player Owen Hargreaves with the latest Lethal Bizzle soundtrack playing in the background.
