Fenerbahçe offered Everton €8 million for midfielder Kevin Mirallas according to the Hürriyet newspaper.
The report claims that Fenerbahçe board member Mahmut Uslu stated that an €8 million offer was made but Everton want an increased bid. Fanatik also reported that Fenerbahçe boss Vitor Pereira has been pushing for a Mirallas move.
However, Fenerbahçe recently released a statement denying making an offer for the Everton midfielder.,
The Istanbul giants are expected to make to sign a midfielder if they progress past Shakhtar in the Champions League preliminary play-off.
The 27-year-old midfielder joined the Toffees from Greek giants Olympiakos for £6.7 million in 2012 and still has another year left on his contract.
The Belgium international has 25 goals and 23 assists in 90 appearances for the Premier League outfit in all competitions.
Mirallas has a total of nine goals in 46 matches for the Belgium national side and starred in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The Belgium international provided three assists and netted 11 times for the Toffees last season.
