Liverpool star Emre Can has stated that he will looking to score more goals in the upcoming season.
The 21-year-old scored his only goal against Chelsea last season and will be hoping to add more to his tally this term.
The Germany u21 international also said that he wants to a key member of Liverpool’s starting line-up.
“I want to stay fit healthy and in form – that’s always the most important goal to set oneself,” Can told LiverpoolFC.com.
“I want to play as often as possible, and to have a good consistent season-long run of games.
“I’m certainly planning to score a few good goals!”
Can will be hoping to move into central midfield this season after spending the last league campaign as a makeshift defender in Rodgers back-three and to a lesser extent a right-back.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man put on an impressive display playing in midfield for the Germany U-21 side in the 2015 U-21 European Championships.
The 21-year-old made a total of 27 appearances for Liverpool last season and also featured in the FA Cup and Europa League.
