Mesut Ozil has taken to Twitter to wish Indonesia a happy 70th independence day.
26-year-old posted the following message on the social media platform, “Wish all Indonesians a very happy 70th Independence Day, peace, prosperity and growth!”
The 26-year-old no has 9.82 million followers on Twitter, 27.8 million followers on Facebook and 2.2 million followers on Instagram.
Özil has been in impressive form for the Gunners following his return from injury which forced him onto the sidelines for three months at the start of the year.
The club’s record signing received a rating of 7.88 from Whoscored for his performance against Crystal Palace on Sunday. The 26-year-old recorded five key passes and maintained a passing accuracy of 98%. The Former Real Madrid playmaker provided the most key passes in the league on Sunday.
The former Real Madrid man also provided the assist for Olivier Giroud’s opening goal against Palace.
