Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger heaped praise on the former Real Madrid man at the post-match press conference.
“It is a pleasure to watch the quality of his passing and the intelligence of his passing,” Wenger was quoted as saying on the official Arsenal website.
The Arsenal star is known for assist making ability and has setup a total of 24 goals for the Gunners since joining on a £42.5 million record breaking transfer fee in 2013.
Arsenal moved into 11th place on three points after two games following the win over Palace.
