Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera is not for sale according to club general secretary Fatih Işbecer.
Muslera has been closely linked with a move to Manchester United over the summer.
The Milliyet claim that Galatasaray want €50 million for Muslera but Işbecer underlined that no official bid has been made.
“We have not received an official bid and Muslera is not for sale,” İşbecer told NTV Spor.
DHA recently linked United with a €35 million move for the Uruguayan international but Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek stated that he wants more for Muslera.
“€25 million is not enough, €35 million is not enough, we want him to stay until the end of the season but if we receive a higher offer we could consider,” Özbek told AMK.
Muslera has played a key role in the Lions success over recent years winning three league titles over the past four seasons.
The Uruguayan international was one of the Istanbul giants most important players in the side that won the league for a record 20th time last season earning the right to wear a fourth star in their badge.
United were reported to have entered the transfer market in pursuit of a replacement keeper for David De Gae however, replacement keeper Romero has kept a clean sheet in the opening two Premier League games of the season.
