Real Madrid have joined Chelsea in the race to sign Galatasaray’s left back Alex Telles according to AS.
The Spanish sports paper state that the La Liga giants were impressed with the young full-back’s performance during Galatasaray’s friendly with Madrid.
The 22-year-old left-back provided an assist in the 2-2 draw against Sivasspor on the weekend and has established himself as a first team regular since joining from Gremio in 2013.
Daily Star reported that the Lions turned down a £5 million offer from Chelsea for the Brazilian full-back.
Galatasaray are understood to be holding out for at least £10 million for their star left-back.
Chelsea have been on the look-out for a new left-back following Felipe Luis’ return to Atletico Madrid earlier this summer but did recently complete the signing of Baba Rahman.
Telles provided a total of two goals and three assists in 56 games for the Lions last season.
