Chelsea’s on-loan defender Kenneth Omeruo has been included in Kasimpasa’s starting line-up for their Turkish Super Lig clash against Basaksehir.
Omeruo was one of Kasimpasa’s star performers as the Pasalar kept a clean-sheet away from home against Gaziantepspor.
Kasimpasa got off to a winning start with a 3-0 win away to the Falcons. Kasimpasa’s opponents Basaksehir suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Antalyaspor in the opening week.
Omeruo joined Kasımpaşa from Chelsea on loan and the Süper Lig outfit have a future buy-out clause option to sign the 21-year-old on a permanent deal until next summer.
The young defender was snapped up by Chelsea in January 2012 and spent last season on loan at Championship side Middlesbrough.
The 21-year-old defender was part of the Middlesbrough team that ensured promotion to the Premier League last season.
