Antalyaspor have released a statement on their official website confirming the transfer of Jean Makoun.
The Scorpions shared a picture of Makoun signing his new contract and wearing the Antalyaspor shirt.
Makoun has experience playing for Aston Villa, Lyon, Lille and Olympiakos.
The 32-year-old will join fellow Cameroon international teammate Samuel Eto’o at the Scorpions. Makoun has 71 international caps for his country.
Eto’o has hit the ground running at Antalyaspor scoring three goals in two-games helping his side win both opening matches and move into joint first place at the top of the Turkish league table.
The newly promoted side have had an ambitious transfer policy bringing in Eto’o and entering talks with Ronaldinho as well as Manchester United keeper Victor Valdes.
The Scorpions also recently signed Algerian international keeper M’Bolhi from MLS side Philadelphia FC.
Antalyaspor are currently managed by Yusuf Şimşek and will take on Istanbul giants Fenerbahçe next at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium.
