The UEFA Champions League group stage draw took place today at Monaco.
Barcelona were drawn against Bayer Leverkusen, Roma and BATE in group E.

The FIFA transfer ban did not stop Barcelona making a few signings over the summer. The most high profile being Arda Turan joining on a £29 million move from Atletico Madrid.
Turan will however, have to wait until the turn of the year to play for the reigning champions as Barcelona are unable to register any new signings as part of the transfer ban.
The bearded winger will probably get the chance to feature in the Champions League this season as it is unlikely that Barcelona will get knocked out at the group stages.
The Turkish international made it all the way to the Champions League final with Atletico Madrid back in 2014 but will be hoping to go one step further at his new clubs.
