Liverpool youngster Emre Can has revealed that he is delighted with his sides clean sheet record.
The Reds have yet to concede a goal in 270 minutes of football which has helped propel them into third in the league table.
The Premier League side have kept a clean sheet in their last three games and Can believes it is down to his side becoming better organised and working hard defensively.
“I think it’s down to good defensive work,” the Germany U21 international explained.
“We’ve been very organised in the recent games and we haven’t conceded a single goal. That’s the top and bottom of it. And that’s why we’re up at the top.”
Can made his first start of the season in the goalless draw against Arsenal on the weekend and is expected to be in the starting XI against West Ham on the weekend.
The Reds take on the Hammers at Anfield in what will be their second home game of the season.
Liverpool have been brilliant defensively but will be hoping to increase their goal tally which currently stands at two.
