Arsenal are set to make a move for Beşiktaş winger Gökhan Töre who is valued at £14.5 million according to the Metro.
The latest reports stem from the Italian and Turkish press. Fanatik recently claimed that Arsenal have been keeping close tabs on Töre and sent scouts to watch him live over the past week.
The Turkish international winger has five assists and a goal in seven league games this season. Töre has the highest assist record in the league at the highest scoring team in Turkey with 14 goals already this season.
The explosive winger is of course no stranger to England having first made a name for himself in the Chelsea youth setup.
Töre would become the second player of Turkish origin to join Arsenal should a move go ahead. The 23-year-old was born in Germany and like Mesut Özil is also an ethnic Turk however, unlike the Arsenal man he opted to represent Turkey at senior international level.
Bugün report that Beşiktaş will consider offers at the end of the season that match their valuation.
