Antalyaspor have reached an agreement in principle with former Barcelona star Ronaldinho according to club president Gultekin Gencer.
The Scorpions were on the verge of signing the World Cup winner over the summer but the deal fell through at the last minute.
Gencer revealed that Antalyaspor have an agreement-in-principle with Ronaldinho as well as Juventus legend Juventus.
“We also have ongoing talks with Ronaldinho and his representatives. He is ready to come to Antalyaspor as well. We have an agreement in principle with both players. If we can find financial back-up, these deals will be finalised,” Gencer told IHA.
Ronaldinho would be joining fellow former Barcelona star Samuel Eto’o at Antalyaspor should he join the Scorpions over the winter break.
The Brazilian attacking midfielder is currently without a club and can be signed as a free agent.
Eto’o already has nine goals in 11 league games making him the top scorer in the league this season.

Gencer told IHA: “We’ve had talks with Pirlo and his agent. He is willing to play for Antalyaspor.”
