AC Milan give Turkish giants priority to sign Bacca if they allow £17.5m Liverpool target to sign for them

AC Milan have stepped up efforts to sign Fenerbahce defender Simon Kjaer according to reports in Turkey.

Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik report that the Italian giants are willing to give Fenerbahce priority to sign Carlos Bacca if they allow the transfer of Kjaer to go ahead.

Per the source, Fenerbahce are keen on Bacca and open to the sale of Kjaer if their valuation is met.

The Serie A outfit have been closely linked with a move for Kjaer over recent weeks but face competition from the Premier League.

Turkish-Football recently reported that Liverpool have also expressed an interest in Kjaer after pulling out of the race to sign Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk.

Fenerbahce are fully aware that interest in their star midfielder has been growing and they currently value Kjaer as being worth £17.5 million [€20m].

The Istanbul giants are facing pressure from Financial Fair Play (FFP) and will have to budget carefully this summer to avoid a similar fate to rivals Galatasaray.

The Lions were suspended from European competition this season due to not meeting their FFP targets.
