Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke has been closely linked with a move to the Super Lig in the Turkish press.
Besiktas and Galatasaray are both rumored to be interested in Benteke and there have been reports that offers have been made.
Benteke’s agent Eris Kismet opened up to Turkish-Football about the latest stories.
Kismet made it clear that no official bids have been received and that his client is happy at Palace.
“Benteke will not be joining Besiktas or any other club, Benteke is focused on his recovery and will not be going anywhere over the winter transfer window,” Kismet said.
“Benteke is staying at Palace.”
The 27-year-old still has another year-and-a-half on his current deal and it seems certain he will not be leaving the South London based outfit in January.
Benteke has had his season disrupted by a knee injury that has seen him miss the past 11 games.
The powerful striker has made just four appearances for the Eagles in the Premier League as a result.
Galatasaray and Besiktas meanwhile, will have to continue their search elsewhere for a striker this winter.
Both clubs are desperate for a new forward and have made it a priority to sign a goalscorer in January.
