Antalyaspor president Gültekin Gencer has stated that he will meet with Ronaldinho next Thursday to discuss the possibility of brining the former world player of the year to the Super Lig.
“Ronaldinho is on the verge of cutting all ties with the Mexican side he plays for and will return to Brazil,” Gültekin told reporters.
“We will meet with his agent in Istanbul on Wednesday. Ronaldinho is expected to arrive in Turkey on Thursday.
“If we are able to agree terms, Ronaldinho will come to Antalya to sign a contract with us.”

Ronaldinho currently plays for the Mexican side Querétaro. Queretaro manager Victor Manuel Vucetich stated that the Mexican side is planning to offload former Barcelona man.
34-year-old has endured a turbulent season and has recently lost his place in the starting line-up.
Antalyaspor have been promoted to the Süper Lig after beating Samsunspor 4-1 on penalties in the PTT 1. Lig play-off final.
The Antalya based side will join Osmanlıspor and Kayserispor in the top flight next season.
The Scorpions were relegated from the Süper Lig in the 2012-13 season and have returned after just a single league campaign in Turkey’s second division.
