Turkish international star Arda Turan has been named in the 19-man Barcelona squad ahead of the Champions League quarter-final second-leg tie against Atletico Madrid.
Barcelona have arrived in Madrid ahead of their clash against Turan’s former side. The 29-year-old first made a name for himself in Spain for the Rojiblancos winning every domestic title and every European trophy except the Champions League.
Turan is likely to feature against Atleti tomorrow but it remains to be seen if Luis Enrique will star the bearded winger.
Barca’s summer signing has come under fire recently although he has had a bright start at the club scoring twice, providing four assists and achieving the highest pass accuracy in the team – 92 percent.
Enrique will be without Rafinha, Vermaelen, Sandro, Aleix Vidal and Jérémy Mathieu due to injury.
The full Barcelona 19-man squad to face Atleti is as follows: Ter Stegen, Bravo, Masip, Douglas, Piqué, Rakitic, Sergio, Alves, Arda, Iniesta, Suárez, Messi, Neymar Jr, Mascherano, Bartra, Munir, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto and Adriano.
