Chelsea have been placed on alert after the conditions for Arda Turan to leave Barcelona were revealed.
The daily Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo stated that two conditions must be met if Turan is to leave this summer.
Firstly Barcelona want to recoup all of the €34 million they spent on him last summer when they signed him from Atletico Madrid.
The Catalan giants also stated that the player himself must table a transfer request if he is to leave the club.
The Daily Star report that Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea have both been linked with a move the the 29-year-old midfielder.
However, Turan is understood to be happy at Barcelona. “The interest is normal but the rumours saying he is leaving Barcelona are false, he is happy at the club,” Turan’s agent, Ahmet Bulut told the Guardian.
Turan does have another four-years remaining on his contract so technically he is within his rights to stay at the club but he has revealed in the past that he would like to play in the Premier League.
The Turkish international revealed that he was looking for a house in the city in an interview with Hürriyet back in March 2015.
“I am thinking about buying a house in London nothing too fancy something like a 180 square meter flat I just would like a place in London,” Turan said.
