Arsenal contract rebel not held negotiations for ‘several weeks’ – But Wenger confident he will stay
Germany international playmaker Mesut Ozil’s Arsenal future appears to be in doubt.
The 28-year-old has under 12-months remaining on his contract with the Gunners and could end up leaving for free next summer.
According to the DailyStar, Ozil has not held negotiations with Arsenal for several weeks as he continues to consider his options.
However, the report goes onto state that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is confident that Ozil will commit his future to the club.

Per the source, Ozil is looking for a major pay increase despite his questionable form.
The 28-year-old was slammed by pundits and ex-Arsenal legends following the Gunners defeats to Stoke City and Liverpool.
Ozil was however in impressive form for the Germany national team. The World Cup winner provided two assists and scored a goal for Joachim Low’s side during their last two fixtures.
Arsenal take on Bournemouth in the Premier League this weekend as they look to return to winning ways.
