Arsenal face competition for wonder-kid target as Bayern Munich prepare €38m bid

Trabzonspor wonder-kid Abdulkadir Omur has attracted widespread interest after breaking into first team aged 18-years-old.

Omur already has two assists in five league games to his name this season including one against reigning Super Lig champions.

The rising star has caught the attention of Arsenal according to former Trabzonspor former technical director Sadi Tekelioglu who confirmed interest.

The Aksam newspaper is now claiming that Bayern Munich have entered the race and that they are prepared to pay €38 million for the youngster.

Per the source, Bayern scouts were so impressed with Omur following the 3-1 victory over Genclerbirligi that the club entered talks with Trabzonspor just days later.

Bayern are reported to have put forward a €38 million bid which would see Omur remain at Trabzonspor on loan for two-seasons to gain first-team experience.

Emre Sarigul of Turkish-Football included Omur in the Guardian newspaper ‘Next Generation 2016: 60 of the best young talents in world football’ list last year.

Omur has been touted as one of the most promising talents in Turkish football for the past few seasons.

The youngster is expected to feature heavily in the Trabzonspor first-team this season.
