Arsenal fans react to Mesut Ozil’s birthday on social media

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil turned 28 today and he will get to start against Swansea City on his birthday to try and deliver the fans a gift or two.

Ozil’s birthday was celebrated by the club, teammates and the fans across social media today. The Germany international of Turkish origin is now into his third year at the North London based outfit since joining from Real Madrid on a club transfer record fee in 2013.

We took a look at how Gunners fans reacted to Ozil’s big day on social media.

The stars must have aligned on 15 October! Ozil shares his birthday with pretty impressive list of players including Manchester United legend Andy Cole and former French international’s David Trezeguet as well as Didier Deschamps.

He may have left Real Madrid in 2013 but fans of the reigning La Liga champions have not forgot about their former assist maestro.

Ozil was called the conductor of the Arsenal team and one of the most talented players in the world!

Arsenal will be hoping to extend their winning run to six Premier League games in a row when they take on Swansea City at the Emirates.
