Arsenal make decision regarding sale of £17m Lucas Perez, Newcastle poised to table bid
Premier League giants Arsenal have made a decision regarding the sale of Lucas Perez.
According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, the north London-based club have decided against allowing Perez to leave the club on a loan deal. Per the source, Arsenal will only let the Spanish striker go if a serious offer comes in.
The Turkish outlet also states that Newcastle United are lining up a bid for the striker.
The Gunners are keen to recoup some of the £17 million (BBC) they spent on Perez last summer. The 28-year-old joined Arsenal from Deportivo last summer but has failed to secure a regular spot in Wenger’s starting eleven.

Perez scored eight goals and provided six assists in 22 appearances for the Gunners last term.
However, the former Deportivo striker’s chances of breaking into the first team have decreased following the signing of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon.
Arsenal kick off their Premier League season on Friday night when they host Leicester City at the Emirates.
