The Turkish international star has also received interest from Premier League giants Arsenal.

ESPN recently reported that Turan has been transfer listed and Barca want £26 million [€30m].

The experienced attacking midfielder has had a turbulent fortnight.

Turan retired from international football last week after assaulting a reporter on the team plane following the goalless draw against Macedonia.

The latest developments come as a blow to the Turkish national team who have lost the most successful and experienced member of the squad.

The Barca star would however, be able to fully commit to his club next season with no international football commitments.

The attacking midfielder would be the second Turkish speaking player at Arsenal along with Mesut Ozil if he were to join the club over the summer.

The Gunners could face competition from Italian giants Inter Milan.

Turan’s agent Ahmet Bulut was recently spotted holding talks with Inter Milan official Piero Ausilio.

Turan has 15 goals and 11 assists in 55 appearances for Barcelona since joining from Atletico Madrid.

The Turkish star has won the league title at every club he has joined on a permanent deal over the course of his career – Galatasaray, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.
