The North London based outfit lost just one league game in December which Ozil featured in.
Ozil has been in great form recently but has just a few months remaining on his contract.
The 29-year-old will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season but has yet to extend his current deal.
Ozil has been linked with an exit but has yet to reveal what his plans beyond the end of the season are.
The playmaker has four goals and five assists in all competitions for the Gunners this season.
