Arsenal’s star playmaker Mesut Ozil has asked to be called ‘Mr Elegant’.
The 27-year-old took to social media over the weekend po post a picture of himself along with the caption, “Today , call me Mr.Elegant.”
The Germany international is expected to return to Arsenal’s starting line-up for the Gunners encounter with Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League next week.
Ozil sat out of Arsenal’s 0-0 draw with Hull City over the weekend. The north London based side were unable to break the Championship side’s defence.
The Germany international has been in great form for Arsenal this season and provided the assist for the Gunners last-gasp goal that saw them cut the gap between themselves and league leaders Leicester City to two points.
Ozil has six goals in all competitions and 17 assists in the Premier League – the highest in the league.
