According to the Independent, Chile international Alexis Sanchez is in contention to return from injury against Liverpool. The news comes as a massive boost to Arsene Wenger who already finds himself under pressure from fans just two games into the season.
The former Barcelona forward missed Arsenal’s opening three games of the season due to an abdominal strain.
Per the source, the 28-year-old returned to full training last week and should be available for selection this weekend.
