Arsenal team news: Wenger provides injury update on two key names
Arsenal duo Mesut Ozil and Laurent Koscielny have been sidelined for the Gunners over the past fortnight.
Both Ozil and Koscielny missed Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Brighton in the Premier League.
The Germany international has been struggling with a knee injury in recent weeks while Koscielny requires daily treatment on his Achilles.
However, Wenger believes the duo will be available for selection following the international break. Ozil was left out of the Germany national team squad due to his knee problem.

“Some players will not go on the international break,” Wenger stated during the post-match press conference.
“Laurent Koscielny, because he has an Achilles problem, Mesut Ozil because he has an inflammation of his knee and Danny Welbeck as well because he’s not fit.”
Ozil could be on his way out of Arsenal at the end of the season. The 28-year-old has under nine months remaining on his contract with the north London-based club.
Arsenal take on Watford FC at Vicarage road in their next Premier League fixture on October 14.
Ozil is yet to register a goal or assist for the Gunners so far this season.
It has been obvious that we are a more cohesive unit of late without Ozil in the team. I would not like to see him offered a ridiculous new contract, just get what we can for him. I would also hope that Jack Wilshere continues his improvement for he is a natural replacement for Ozil as our creative midfielder
