Arsenal transfer news: £42m Contract rebel wants move to Man United, Barcelona or Real Madrid

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil is already making plans for next season according to Goal.

The 28-year-old has under nine months remaining on his contract with the Gunners and is yet to agree a new deal with Arsenal.

Ozil reportedly snubbed Arsenal’s latest contract offer which was believed to be worth £250,000 a week.

Goal states that Ozil is keen to join either Man United, Barcelona or Real Madrid next summer. Man United may have the upper hand in the race to sign Ozil due to Jose Mourinho.

Ozil played under Mourinho during his three-year spell at Real Madrid. The pair won the La Liga and League Cup during their time in Spain. The Germany international went onto join Arsenal for £42 million in September 2013.

The 28-year-old is currently sidelined with a knee injury. Ozil missed Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Brighton last weekend and was left out of Joachim Low’s Germany national team squad.

Ozil is expected to be back in time for Arsenal’s clash with Watford FC in the Premier League on October 14.
