Arsenal transfer news: Euro giants plot move for out-of-favour right-back Mathieu Debuchy, Gunners keen to sell
Besiktas have set their sights on out-of-favour Arsenal right-back Mathieu Debuchy.
According to Goal.com, Besiktas are plotting a move for the 32-year-old defender. Per the source, Arsenal are keen to offload the France international before the end of the transfer season next week.
Goal.com go onto state that Debuchy’s representatives are hoping to mutually terminate their client’s contract with Arsenal so that he can join Besiktas for free.
Debuchy made just one appearance for Arsenal last season and is yet to feature for Arsene Wenger’s side this term.

Besiktas are on the hunt for a new right-back following the long-term injury to Turkey international Gokhan Gonul. Debuchy made the move to Arsenal from Newcastle back in 2014 – when he was France’s first-choice right-back.
Besiktas host their rivals Bursaspor at the Vodafone Arena this weekend. Arsenal meanwhile will be looking to return to winning ways this weekend when they take on Liverpool at Anfield.
