Arsenal transfer news: Turkish club join race to sign £24m Barcelona star in January
Barcelona star playmaker Arda Turan has been linked with a move away from the La Liga giants in recent weeks.
Turan has failed to feature in a single La Liga clash following the appointment of Ernesto Valverde over the summer.
According the Spanish outlet Sport, Turkish club Trabzonspor are the latest side to express an interest in the star midfielder.
Per the source, Trabzonspor President Muharrem Usta has been in talks with the 30-year-old.
Meanwhile, Turan was recently spotted with his agent Ahmet Bulut in London. The photo – which was uploaded by Turan to social media – sparked speculation that a move to Arsenal could be on the cards.

Bulut also confirmed being in talks with a Premier League side.
“It’s not clear right now where he is going but he will leave from Barcelona in January,” Bulut stated.
“We’re talking with three or four teams from Spain, Italy and England. There is no contact with Galatasaray.”
Turan made the move to Barcelona from Atletico Madrid for £24 million back in 2015 (BBC).
