Arsenal’s defence will not be able to cope Palace, says Paul Merson
Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson believes Arsenal will drop points against Crystal Palace this weekend.
The Eagles host Arsenal at Selhurst Park on Saturday as they look to return to winning ways. Sam Allardyce’s side have won four of their last five games moving them out of the relegation zone.
Palace were however defeated by Southampton on Wednesday evening.
Merson has stated that Arsenal’s defence may struggle to cope with the Crystal Palace attacking threat.

The SkySports Pundit went onto say that Allardyce’s side will cause Arsenal problems and that he expects a high scoring game.
“This could be a thriller. I don’t think Arsenal’s defence will be able to cope with Palace’s attack, and vice versa,” Merson told SkySports.
“Both sides will want to win because a draw isn’t ideal for either team.
“Sam Allardyce will know how to cause Arsenal problems and I think it will end up being a draw. If results go against them this weekend then it looks like the top four will be done.”
Arsenal come into the game in high spirits following their 3-0 victory over West Ham United on Wednesday.
The Gunners are currently in fifth place and four points behind Man City. Arsenal also have one game in hand. Crystal Palace manager Sam Allardyce has lost 15 times to Wenger’s Arsenal in the league
